Our mission is to provide a community of abundant life for men and women with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

OUR PURPOSE

Glory Village exists to allow its workers to fulfil the Gospel call to serve the least of our neighbors by providing high quality fellowship activities and meaningful work opportunities that allow those with disabilities to live life to the full in Christian community.

Access to quality housing and a place for regular worship and community activities are integral parts of our ministry.

We aim to end loneliness and isolation as we thrive together in Jesus’ name.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity based in Joplin, Missouri, and an affiliate of Christ's Community Joplin.

FELLOWSHIP ACTIVITIES

MEANINGFUL LIVING

We will offer a range of fellowship activities and meaningful work opportunities tailored to the unique abilities and needs of individuals with disabilities. Shine will be a primary partner in these endeavors. Our aim is to provide a supportive and nurturing environment where everyone can contribute and find fulfillment.

QUALITY HOUSING

At Glory Village, we prioritize the provision of quality housing that meets the specific requirements of individuals with disabilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.

REGULAR WORSHIP

Regular worship is an integral part of our ministry. We facilitate inclusive worship experiences that cater to the spiritual needs of individuals with disabilities, fostering a sense of belonging and spiritual growth.

COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

We will plan and organize a variety of community activities aimed at promoting social inclusion, connection, and participation. Animal caregiving, planting and harvesting are activities provide opportunities for individuals with disabilities to engage with their community and develop meaningful relationships.
